Welcome to East Providence, Rhode Island

The Waterfront Commission has been charged with facilitating the transformation of the East Providence waterfront into a model of urban revitalization.  Its work will help shape the East Providence waterfront for the next one hundred years.

Over the past ten years, we have helped bring five hundred jobs into the Waterfront District and the City.  Here's why businesses should relocate or expand in East Providence!

EP Waterfront in the News
William Fazioli, the Acting Chairman of the East Providence Waterfront District Commission, recently wrote an op-ed for the East Providence Post.  The Waterfront District was also featured in a recent New York Times article, which highlights the $53-million Tockwotton Home, the $280 million Village on the Waterfront development, and the $87 million Kettle Point development project.
